Judge: Alfred Potter

Alfred Potter (alfredpotter.com) is an instrumental progressive metal guitarist and prominent online guitar teacher living in Wellingon, New Zealand. He has released two albums (“Argonaut” and “Splendor of Sands”) and has published a suite of guitar tuition eBooks and video courses, most notable being the “Lead Guitar Practice Methodology” eBook, and the “Sweep Picking Master” video course.

He loves to cook and taste wonderful food, and his frequent attending of whisky-tasting events have given him a keen discernment of flavours.

He is excited to be a WATA 2023 judge and looks forward to seeing what the best of Wellington's Hospitality has to offer.
